Synchronicity

Meaningful coincidence between the inner world of our thoughts and the outer world of matter suggested to Carl Jung that these two worlds were not as clearly separated as we think.

When we begin to realize that there are other possibilities, and that other realities and experiences of consciousness are possible, it positively activates our own unused potential. Once we accept the possibility, we open not only our mind, we ignite the potential within and we begin to experience these things rather than just reading about them.

The laws of physics maintain that the observer affects the experiment. By being watched, there is a response. It is this same law that operates in synchronicity, coincidence and meaning. If we are watching for it, it will respond. There is no such thing as coincidence. Nothing happens by chance. Life is in a constant process of communication with us. Only most people are too busy to notice.

Synchronicity is real, it is a phenomenon that not only everyone has had, it also feels the same for everyone.

Jung described synchronicity as an ‘acausal connecting principle’, he also maintained that synchronicity is more likely to occur when we are in a highly charged state of emotional and mental awareness, when, in his words; “the archetypes, universal images or themes underlying human behavior, are activated.”

Synchronistic journaler and biologist, Paul Kammerer, in 1919 introduced ‘”The Law of Seriality” which suggested that clusters of coincidence were like ripples on the surface of a pond, the only ‘observable’ evidence of a general connecting principle of nature. He also compared this force of ‘connectedness to the force of gravity, indicating that it is a law of nature. We are to watch for synchronicity in our life because once the first one takes place we can be sure another will follow as sure as an apple will fall to the ground.

Simply put, gravity works with objects of mass, synchronicity works with both matter and consciousness, bringing them together because they are alike.

Affinity is the attraction of matter to what the mind is thinking. Gravity only works with matter and only pulls objects to the earth. Affinity pulls things to mind and mind to things. It is a law. The law reveals that synchronicity affects both matter and consciousness through affinity. They must be alike, that is the ‘pull.’

Like thoughts attract like thoughts, similar to magnetic and gravitational forces. Thoughts are powerful because their origin is in creativity, which is the mode of God.

Metaphysicians have always maintained that the authoritative source of this influence, impact and power that thought has, is our spiritual right. The time is coming when we will be able to fully explore our spiritual nature once again and when the connected ‘collective unconscious’ is awakened; it will surpass all of these hopes.

Law of Expansion – Connecting Time

If science is the study of the process of cause and effect, one of the best things you can do for yourself is to work backward with the law of intention and attraction.

Pick one thing in your life that is going on right now. Focus on either your career, a relationship, even a talent or hobby that you have. Then honestly look at how this situation came about. By working backward you can follow the story as it unfolded from the very beginning, right up to the moment as it gave birth as just a thought.

This one practice is so valuable, that if you work backward on your life’s many situations, you can’t help but have a spiritual awakening. You will awake to the full understanding of what manifestation is and why our thoughts and decision should be well chosen.

What you focus on; expands. The first door ‘into’ your kingdom within is to view events in your life backwards.

Choose one part of your life, such as your career or a relationship and follow it backward until you get to the beginning point, at the point of that very first thought, about your career, or a person in your life.

Also note the synchronicities around this part of your life. Take note and question the little (or big) coincidences that brought you to this point in your life. If you get into the right study-mode of your life you will also begin to notice things or events in your life that ‘fell away’; all those ‘what-ifs’ from your life, the people or the job offer that drifted quickly in and out of your life and its disappearance of presence in your life occurred precisely because of your diminished attention to it.

By the ‘backward’ practice review of your choices, you begin to understand your life, how it unfolds and appears in the physical. You then become a master planner in your life.
