Synchronicity

Meaningful coincidence between the inner world of our thoughts and the outer world of matter suggested to Carl Jung that these two worlds were not as clearly separated as we think.

When we begin to realize that there are other possibilities, and that other realities and experiences of consciousness are possible, it positively activates our own unused potential. Once we accept the possibility, we open not only our mind, we ignite the potential within and we begin to experience these things rather than just reading about them.

The laws of physics maintain that the observer affects the experiment. By being watched, there is a response. It is this same law that operates in synchronicity, coincidence and meaning. If we are watching for it, it will respond. There is no such thing as coincidence. Nothing happens by chance. Life is in a constant process of communication with us. Only most people are too busy to notice.

Synchronicity is real, it is a phenomenon that not only everyone has had, it also feels the same for everyone.

Jung described synchronicity as an ‘acausal connecting principle’, he also maintained that synchronicity is more likely to occur when we are in a highly charged state of emotional and mental awareness, when, in his words; “the archetypes, universal images or themes underlying human behavior, are activated.”

Synchronistic journaler and biologist, Paul Kammerer, in 1919 introduced ‘”The Law of Seriality” which suggested that clusters of coincidence were like ripples on the surface of a pond, the only ‘observable’ evidence of a general connecting principle of nature. He also compared this force of ‘connectedness to the force of gravity, indicating that it is a law of nature. We are to watch for synchronicity in our life because once the first one takes place we can be sure another will follow as sure as an apple will fall to the ground.

Simply put, gravity works with objects of mass, synchronicity works with both matter and consciousness, bringing them together because they are alike.

Affinity is the attraction of matter to what the mind is thinking. Gravity only works with matter and only pulls objects to the earth. Affinity pulls things to mind and mind to things. It is a law. The law reveals that synchronicity affects both matter and consciousness through affinity. They must be alike, that is the ‘pull.’

Like thoughts attract like thoughts, similar to magnetic and gravitational forces. Thoughts are powerful because their origin is in creativity, which is the mode of God.

Metaphysicians have always maintained that the authoritative source of this influence, impact and power that thought has, is our spiritual right. The time is coming when we will be able to fully explore our spiritual nature once again and when the connected ‘collective unconscious’ is awakened; it will surpass all of these hopes.

Simultaneous Inspiration

There are patterns of simultaneous inspiration that occur outside of our ordinary 3D space-time. Most of us have read about the uncanny coincidence of Elisha Gray and Alexander Graham Bell filing for the telephone patent within hours of each other. Bell filed first and he is credited as the sole inventor. This occurrence was very closely inspired and there are multiple stories of inspiration innocently stolen, such as George Harrison’s inadvertent plagiarism of “My Sweet Lord” from the melody “He’s So Fine” by The Chiffons. Considering Harrison’s fame and wealth at the time, there is a consensual agreement that this was most likely an unconscious action on his behalf.

Many times there are similar ideas that arise across vast distances without any shared communication between inventors or artists. Is this merely coincidence or evidence of simultaneous connection within the collective unconscious? Ideas are usually spread through memes, media and word of mouth but sometimes there are mysterious inspirations that seem to pop out of the collective unconscious for those who are ready to receive them. There are always ideas that are just waiting to be born and if one person does not act on the information, someone else always will. You need to move quickly in the aetheric field if you hope to have an impact.

Subconscious and Unconscious

Subconscious and Unconscious are words that can be used interchangeably. However unconscious was coined by Freud to denote that part of the mind we know nothing about that holds our repressed memories and ideas that shape our conscious behavior.

The subconscious used to describe those things we do without conscious attention to, such as riding a bike, driving a car, typing, etc.

“Subconscious or unconscious mind (terms which can be used interchangeably), is the part of our mind, which operates usually below the level of our normal consciousness. Like in the iceberg analogy, the subconscious mind is the vaster and more substantial part of our mind. Out of the 2 Million bits of information which approach us every second, the conscious mind can only register approximately 7 bits, whereas the subconscious mind computes around 140 bits per second. The subconscious mind is in charge of our emotions, which explains why we can feel a certain way without really knowing why – for example waking up grumpy one day and completely happy the next. The subconscious mind also stores memories from any events of our past.”

Our subconscious also controls all of our physiological functions of the body; we don’t regulate our heart rate, breathing, kidney function or digestion with our conscious mind.

Another spin is that we have a conscious mind, an unconscious mind and the subconscious is a buffer between those two. Along with these there is an intra-conscious that connects with the larger field of all knowledge. It has been maintained that we need to believe in this state to connect with it. Most people don’t and therefore never have any contact with this intra-consciousness.
